Have I mentioned that I really fucking love The Lion King? There's something so absolutely classic and timeless about it. The music, the themes, the characters, they resound in my mind, and I see shadows of them in everything. It's so bloody archetypal. It's about shame and ignorance and redemption and sorrow. It's about overcoming the past, and looking boldly toward the future. It's about the seasons of life.
