What PEACE means for me

Two days ago, i poured my heart out on one of my entries regarding my graduation.. I was so afraid talking with my mom, but eventually, its something that was inevitable, and so, when we talk over the phone (she's working as a head pharmacist in UAE),
here's one of her dialogue:

"You have still the chance until march before i will go vacation but promise me you will make it this time ok,,,though i was disappointed but what can i do lets lift it to the lord for what his purpose to you ok cheer up. you know very much how much i love you. how can i say no to the person i treasure so much love... be sure anak you will pass this time... ok i luv you.try to tell your sister louise for her to understand you.... "

Imagine how hard I cry after hearing that.. and a while I go I was bracing myself for reprimanding, for her to scold me, but none came, instead, what i heard were words full of love, words from the person who i realized just now how much she loved me.. how much she'd given all her life to me (my dad died when i was barely a year old).. I can't stop myself from crying because of that..especially her parting words to me:

anak, [my daughter]  stay calm think positive you will soon graduate okay?. just trust Him you know that.. just what i did when all of you still kids i lift my burden to Him becoz God is only the one who guide me and give me strength to fulfill all my responsibilities and give me hope to take care my kids.it is proven He never let me walk alone He is always there protecting me ,give me hope most especially he is always be there for me praise His name ....

Too overwhelmed by what my mama told me, i just blurted a single word: AMEN!

and the call ended.. probably because much has been said,.. and I was just grateful that I become honest with her.

Need I say More? Before i end this entry, I would like to share  a short story about PEACE and it goes something like this:

The Real Meaning Of Peace

There once was a king who offered a prize to the artist who would paint the best picture of peace. Many artists tried. The king looked at all the pictures. But there were only two he really liked, and he had to choose between them. One picture was of a calm lake. The lake was a perfect mirror for peaceful towering mountains all around it. Overhead was a blue sky with fluffy white clouds. All who saw this picture thought that it was a perfect picture of peace.

The other picture had mountains, too. But these were rugged and bare. Above was an angry sky, from which rain fell and in which lightning played. Down the side of the mountain tumbled a foaming waterfall. This did not look peaceful at all.

But when the king looked closely, he saw behind the waterfall a tiny bush growing in a crack in the rock. In the bush a mother bird had built her nest. There, in the midst of the rush of angry water, sat the mother bird on her nest - in perfect peace.

Which picture do you think won the prize? The king chose the second picture. Do you know why?

"Because," explained the king, "peace does not mean to be in a place where there is no noise, trouble, or hard work.
Peace have different meaning, depending on how a person perceived it. For me. Peace is something that is obtain after being rightfully honest with yourself and with others. After a long conversation with my mom, i was finally able to set my heart at peace..

Peace means to be in the midst of all those things and still be calm in your heart. That is the real meaning of peace."
