quick update before we go buy a futon mattress:
1) tim and i are moved! the unpacking is coming along nicely, we really only have the office left. i'm really happy here. the neighbors are super nice, and i love having things like a real kitchen and an office. we went wandering yesterday to check out the neighborhood on foot. it's such a pretty area with cute old houses, it makes for a much nicer walk than icky parma. there's a community garden practically across the street from us, and the harp is great for an outdoor beer, even if it's not cheap.
2) i am thinking about organizing another big end of the summer/september birthdays celebration/bbq in the metroparks. if any of you have conflicts, please let me know because i would love to find a weekend that loads of people are free. i'm looking at august 30th right now. we can do it up right this time, there is this great place called stockyard meats by us. i'm thinking kabobs: easy for meat-eaters and vegetarians alike. this would also be pot-luck if people wanted to bring a side dish.
3) there isn't really a three. i just feel like i should have more to say. i guess i'm pretty boring right now. i will take this opportunity to plug my jobs: Cleveland Museum of Art has opened their first gallery space since closing for the renovations, and it's free to visit. It's pretty cool to see what is going on there with the renovation project, it will be fantastic once it's finally done. PlayhouseSquare is doing their cinema series where they show cool old movies on a giant screen in the Palace theatre, complete with old-school cartoons to start, and it's only five bucks, so it's a cheap date. who says cleveland is dying?
