So...it's August...it's approximately fourteen days until my birthday!!!!!
And I'm content overall, except for the fact that when I finished replying to 49 emails last night, I woke up to 30 =__= . ... and the fact that I haven't spoken to
kagomelover460 in kami knows how long... T___T
Anyway, as some people know, new month = new layout. I've chosen to snag this one from...
spiralbound_lj and I like the clean, fresh, vibrant look for this month. (It'll be up in a minute) There is a large chance that I might possibly change it again... T___T
EDIT = I changed it. *grins* It's a moon-like theme now...it's undergoing editing, so it might take a while before it's secure. It suits me, I guess. I've always loved the moon.
So, apparently, I was working the facepainting station with
kinoria again...but it was really sad, because in the end, we only ended up painting one person -- the same one on different hands...
BUT --- we were stuck sorting bottles for the bottle drive at the depot next door! We took about six to seven trips first, each bring a total of approximately twelve dollars a trip...and on somewhere around the eighth trip (The last one) ...We came in to a very long lineup with a FULL cart. (Again...) Then people started to donate a lot because they didn't want to wait in line, and then another volunteer hands off yet another full cart to us, and
kinoria 's holding a full garbage bag too... and when we finally got into the depot sorting area, we started... and she turned around when one cart was almost three cans empty, and another was half, she picks up those three cans and turns around to sort them, and I dump two full garbage bags into the cart. T___________T She turns back around and is shocked. I wept. XD
But in the end, the bottle drive that we did brung in one hundred thirty eight dollars alone, and the whole two barbeques raised 1100 dollars! *is happy* ^o^
So, I'm being lazy, and a failure on updates. XD I want to put something up, but I'm failing. I'm sorry, my readers! XD
I've been watching Tsubasa Chronicles lately, so I'm sorry for my lack of activity and frantic catching up as of late. Oh yes, and thank you
evercool, for showing me how to clean images. ^o^
kage_otome's finally back! It's a bit rough here and there, but I think everything'll be fine...sooner or later. I'm sure
kurakitsune is very happy too. *hugs*
