Yet another poem...

Here's another little poem from me. I don't know whether or not its good, but its what came to me when I set down to write.

"Night Angel"

As the sun faces,
She rises...

An angel of the night,
Ascending on wings
of pitch and snow...

Gentle feathers,
scattering in her wake,
glimmer under pale moonlight...

Countless strands of autumn,
Flowing freely forever,
Locks of shimmering waves...

Dusk and dawn,
Glisten beneath the stars,
Gleaming in her eyes,
Sight unfettered and free...

A moonbeam given form,
She glows with the softest radiance,
A touch as soft as down,
And shards of midnight at her fingertips...
