Well, it hasn't been a very happy New Year here.
Last night, around 7:00 PM, my cat died. She was hit by a car. I don't know if it was my friend Blake and I as we were backing up or if someone hit her on the road and she was tossed into the yard. I don't want to talk about it further, but I'm left wondering whether or not it was my fault. Suffice to say, I was rather upset about it. I still am. We buried her near the side of the house.
After living here for almost 6 months, we lose two cats in less than a week.
We have a puppy now. A yellow labrador named Yogi. He's almost 6 weeks old and he's a whiny little thing.
Most recently, my glasses broke. So, for now, I'm stuck with my old pair with a previous perscription. My vision is now subpar as well.
