Ah...3:47 AM. Its kind of late and I'm not quite ready to go to bed yet.

Anyway, what've I been up to?

hmm...a few days ago, I called Tiffany for the first time in several weeks. I had been meaning to before, but I kept putting it off. Well, come to think of it, I did try calling a few times, but nobody answered the two or three times I tried. Anyway, yeah, I started talking with her again and tried to see if I could get something to do out of her.

Meaning, I actually got out of the house today. The first time I've gone out for something other than eatting in a damned while. We went to the movie theater to see The Grudge, that horror movie remake that came out Friday. It wasn't a bad movie. Sure, it had its little flaws here and there...they seemed to sacrifice a little story developement for more opportunities to scare the viewers. However, I do believe I caught the main bit of the story. If I'm not mistaken, I believe it was created by the same man that created The Ring (Ringu), although I can't quite recall his name at the moment. And its obvious that there are some similarities between the two movies. However, this movie's ghosts were a little more blatant than the ghost in The Ring. By that I mean...they don't give seven days warning and they're more up-close and personal, if you will, in their killing. Going so far as to crawl ontop of their victim, etc.

All in all, there were a few scenes that made me avert my eyes for a second. heh, maybe I'm just a wuss when it comes to movies like these...its got me looking behind myself every few minutes and generally keeping my eye on mirrors and the like, heh. Still, I don't think it would have caught me as strongly if the movie weren't so loud; I felt as though I had to cover my ears every now and then. Apparently some people were either so bored, scared, or disgusted with it that they decided to walk out on the movie. As the movie finished and the people began to leave their seats, I could hear some of them talking about how bad they thought the movie was or how they wanted their money back, so, I guess its not for everyone. Still, I thought it was a decent movie. Nothing deeply thought-provoking, just a decent movie that relies on creepiness and sudden jump-horror. However, I think thats the last time I want to see a movie on the opening weekend. Too many damned kids there. Laughing, talking loudly on their cell phones, etc. I'll wait for the second or third weekend from now on.

Anyway, it was good to get out of the house for a while. I've been cooped up in here for quite a while and I'm starting to get bored with it. But, as always, everytime one of my female friends visit, my sister asks them the same question "Are you dating Dustin?" and, of course, its always no. Although, its usually a more enthusiastic no. And...of course, my mother always presumes too much. She bugged me about it when I got home. I won't get into the details because there really isn't much to tell.

Well, its taken me a pretty long while to type this up...that movie The People Vs. Larry Flynt is on and I guess I keep glancing over at the TV. Thats about all there is to tell anyway, so...until next time...
