Becoming a Manga Artist

I have always wanted to make my own manga because i want to become a true artist but i can't without testing myself, so this is how i will do it, by creating my own manga.
hopefully it will become a successful project and get picked up by a manga publisher.
but if it doesn't i will set up my own publishing company.
