for your amusement i submit the following:
Zao1 gao1, which generally means something along the lines of "what a mess" or "oh my" or other similar such phrases, quite literally means "messy cake." Thus anytime Wash or Malcolm or any other of the rather attractive Firefly member says zaogao, these sexy rabble-rousers are saying "oh no! messy cake!" It amused me....just thought I'd take a short break and share...
