Though it appears not everyone was as lucky- I believe I've seen some thestrals roaming the halls, and Raimei's a puffskein. A small, pink puffskein. I'm not all that fond of animals myself, but even I have to admit that's cute. She's been rather vocal about her displeasure, though. I sympathize with her roommates.
