Absolutely NO drama herein, whether inferred or implied. Life just is what it is.
About ready to go and clean out the bathtub/shower (as soon as my steam cleaner heats up enough, that is) from all the accumulated gunk and ewwww that's in there. Amazing how quickly (and how messy) a bathtub will get when two people are sharing it on a regular basis (I got a roommate - actually, more-appropriately a housemate as they have their own room - back last November).
But if one wants things to be done a particular way, one has to do it oneself.
It sure isn't going to be "fun" (cleaning never is), especially as summer now is here; I don't mind it being sunny and warm (summers in the Pac NW rarely are), but I AM kinda ticked that it's also very damn muggy and humid at the moment (which rarely happens) - cleaning the tub with a steamer will only add to the humidity. Whee.

In other interesting news, I'll be up early in the morning tomorrow to go about maybe a mile or so down the road to a Presbyterian church and make some much-needed cash (getting close to my usual per-performance fees for doing one number, no less). I got this particular gig thru an acquaintance of mine who sings with a local organization that I've performed with a number of times over the years; said person apparently is the 'summer booking' person as the choir takes the whole summer off and various other musicians are booked to come in during the summer months to perform stuff in place of the choir.
Can't complain, we like performing AND getting paid for it, too.
