Allergies suck.

My previous post and my recent silence on my journal have probably been a little deceiving, I've had a wonderful week.
~
But first a few complaints,
My allergies, perhaps paired with having a cold, have been cause of continual sinus pressure and a persistent runny nose. The good news is that I am starting on Claritin and on the advice of the nurse, supplementing it with Benadryl until the full effects of the Claritin kick in. At the very least, with the aid of the drugs (mmm drugs), I will be somewhat functional this spring.

Over break I wrote about leaving my violin at school. The unfortunate thing is, now that I am back at school, I still can't play on account of my recent surgery. For those of you that didn't notice the pyramid like bulging mass thats been in the side of my neck since August, have no worries - because it was removed surgically removed over break. And because I have a happy-go-lucky surgeon who loves to cut people open, I also had the benign mass in the side of my right arm removed as well. The recovery process is going well, but slowly. Thankfully I feel little to no pain from the incisions, just have to deal with the nuisance of overly large bandaids.

Now back to why I've been having a great week,
IS Monday, which ironically was followed by a drunken Tuesday night.
Although my Independent Study was turned in the Friday before break, most students don't turn theirs in till the Monday after. As one can guess all sorts of drunken debauchery is to expected. As for myself, I went out to dinner with Erin and went to a wine and cheese party afterwards. After several shots of jameson, splitting a pitcher of margarita with Erin, and a glass of wine in the evening, I was a little tipsy but far from drunk. What was odd was the following day, two glasses of wine and I was completely out of it. Lying in Erin's lap professing things I would not normally have said - or rather, things I'd been trying to say but had never been able to.

Erin's one year anniversary gift.
It arrived the other day, but our anniversary isn't for another month. So now all I can do is wait, I hate waiting.

Job search,
I don't have a job yet but the prospects are looking good. More and more it looks like I'm going to be working for an IT consulting firm in Columbus. Consulting is not my preferred line of work but it should lead me into other opportunities later on. Chances of getting hired are high, the pay is good, and its a decent job.
