An overdue post
Funny how I stop posting when I have things to keep me busy from day to day. Who would have known :-P
The Williams trip will be happening, not quite as planned but since when do well laid plans ever go right? In short Dan and I will be driving up to the Shakespeare festival at Stratford and stopping in Detroit on the way. Anyone is welcome to join.
Going out with Tracy tomorrow to see Howl's Moving Castle, which by some miracle is still playing at a theater in DC. It's dubbed but it still beats the sketch copy I have sitting on my laptop.
Then it's off to the Opera on Wednesday. The Wolf Trap Opera Company is doing a production Don Giovanni and I managed to get back on to the invite list. I'll be going with a friend from Wooster. A friend who happens to live in the area and may also have a car next semester. eg. Someone I hope will be willing to drive me to and from school.
Next month the Opera Company is doing a production of La Cenerentola, hopefully I be able to get into that rehearsal as well.
My IS is on hold while I rebuild my computer. On a related note im putting myself under a spending freeze. I really need to start watching my expenses, as I don't have oodles of money just lying around. Well I sort of do but it's money that should be in a savings account and not sitting in my checking account where I can spend it.
