The first song that he’s been playing either doesn’t have a name, or he’s just not sharing it yet. We don’t know what it’s called but it’s really good. Hell No is a catchy song, as is Chase. “Feel the Music” is what I’m calling the song…but it may or may not be be actual title. The chorus goes “Stomp your feet…Clap the beat…Music is freedom”

Then the fifth new song, “Salvation” (again, I’m guessing at the title here) is really good, too. I think Maura summed it up really well when she said “You wanna know the setlist? HE opened with a Good song. Then he played another good song. Followed by another good song and another good song. Then a couple more good songs. Then he played a couple acoustic good songs. Then a few more good songs. Then he came out for the encore and played another couple good songs.” They’re all good. He’s really having fun with his effects pedal.

So much fun in fact, that he hit the wrong button with his foot not once, but twice tonight. Which meant he gave us a little sheepish smile before going back into his set.

Also, many of you will doubtlessly remember the photo Miyavi posted to twitter of Bobo’s bottom in his striped booty shorts. Well, he talked about that tonight; apparently Bobo got mad at him, so he had to take it down. And as an apology he bought him a new pair. Which he of course wore today. Also the word used for Bobo’s shorts is ‘Pantsu’, which is underwear in Japanese. So…pretty much Miyavi’s drummer is coming on stage in his underwear at every show.

OH I love Miyavi.

In non-miyavi news, today we went to the game center and I won Maura a big sleeping cat plushie. It’s so cute and awesome that I am going to go back and get one for myself. SO CUTE.
