I had to write this and get it out of my system (it was very therapeutic). Yes, it is wish fulfillment, but a part of me seriously thinks that some of this might actually make it to canon (like Spike's the father, but won't be revealed until late in the season, their kid is 100% normal and that it was conceived when Severin sucked their powers in #4. I know most won't agree as it seems too happy...which is another reason I'm thinking it's real. Joss giving us some happiness and ship confirmation?? "No never!" and Joss is just sitting there troll smiling. But I'm having fun looking forward to seeing if I'm wrong.)

And, really, no matter who the father turns out to be, I just want the best for Buffy/baby/Spike!

There is so much negativity I just wanted to make something fun and happy for a change and be positive (the date rape thing really makes me sad, and not because I think Spike is the father, but just I don't want Buffy to have been raped)! I'm really happy you liked it! Maybe later on someone will write fluffy, happy Spuffy baby fics!
