2011.1.1 Arashi ni Shiyagare / 元日の夜『嵐にしやがれ』2時間半SP

Apr 26, 2011 22:08

Tonight I decided to FINALLY watch the New Year 2 and a half hour Arashi ni Shiyagare SP. I've had the tab open and been meaning to watch it since the start of ... February?? LMAO!! But I haven't gotten around to watching it until now.

Unfortunately for those who don't know Japanese, the version I'm watching is without subtitles.

Part 1
Part 2

The first guests are the comedy group Neptune. They have Arashi do a bunch of short gag skits. It was really funny when they made Aiba play the person who gets mad. He felt like a completely different person. His voice even changed!!! And then MatsuJun comes in and things get even more hilarious!! LMAO!!

The fairy bit with Nino and Ohno was also pretty funny. They looked so cute!!

The last part was the skit that Ken-san prepared. They had 30 minutes to practice and change while the audience went on a coffee break.

Meanwhile, they skipped to the Dandy-ism Counselling corner. I think this corner is pretty dumb. Most of the things Arashi ask about are pretty lame, in my opinion, and the responses are pretty useless. I don't know why they keep doing this corner.

Although, this time they were sort of okay.

Sakurai-kun was worried about the fact that he could never remember his Hatsu-Yume (first dream of the New Year, said to foretell the luck of the dreamer in the ensuing year).

Aiba-chan was worried about going on trip to Hawaii with his friends or going home as his relatives are visiting. What's funny with this one is that Sakurai-kun thought of a good solution before the Godfathers even spoke. And his solution was better than the Godfathers!! LMAO~~

Nino's worry was about the fact that he still received Otoshidama from his family (Otoshidama is the cash present that family gives to their kids at the start of the New Year).

MatsuJun's worry was about the fact that he always gets a fever around the start of the New Year. This surprised me because, as a member of Arashi, he must have a lot of work to do and appearances yet you wouldn't think from looking at him that he's having a fever or feeling unwell. But, then again, I'm the type that once I focus on getting something done I'm able to forget about how horrible I feel or how tired I am. It's only when I stop moving that I feel crappy again. Maybe MatsuJun's the same way.

Ohno's problem was with MatsuJun (again!). He was annoyed by the fact that MatsuJun kept on using 超絶 (Chouzetsu = Really, A lot). Apparently, Sakurai-kun used to use it a lot. Then, one day MatsuJun started using it. So, Ohno was annoying that he stole it from Sakurai and was copying him. Because they're around each other a lot, they end up using a lot of the same words.

Sakurai-kun was chosen as the "Best of the Disciples" and was given a VERY detailed statue of a naked boy that, if you press a button, it pees water. LMAO!! WTF??

Now back to the skit with Neptune. LOL!! This was pretty funny too. It was weird seeing everyone in their costumes. Especially MatsuJun. Even Neptune had to keep from laughing.

The next guest they had was Tokoro George. He shows them the fun you can have with things bought from a Home Supplies Store. And how to guess what a vegetable is by eating it's leaves. Then he taught them how to make Japanese sweets even better by heating them up the next day and eating them.

Both guests were fun to watch but the part with Neptune was definitely the peak.
