break from the past, what I am doing right now
So I am on SPRING BREAK right now! I am going to Canada tomorrow!! (well Sunday). I am so excited, snowboarding in Mont Tremblant, Canada with good friends and clubbing at night, there is nothing better. I have made really good friends with these people. Katie Basse and Alexa are really cool and I like them a lot. I am excited to live with Katie next year. So this semester has been pretty crazy, every weekend has been very exciting. So the first weekend break ended I went to visit Lauren in New York and we went out to a bar, this is when Lauren's flirting comes in handy because she can get into bars and sometimes get us free drinks. Then the next weekend I went snowboarding and it was amazing, as always. Then the next weekend I was busy working at the track meet to raise money for the frisbee team and we had a frisbee party SO I finally got to meet some of the guys and Sunday went snowboarding again. Then the next weekend I went out both nights and then stayed in to watch the super bowl on Sunday (Feb 1st). Feb 7th was the Back Bay Ball and I went with Christine and Bridget and their guy friends and it was a really good time. Then that Sunday stayed in to study for my chemistry test I had that monday. The next weekend was Presidents Day weekend ( Feb 13-16th). It was friday the 13th and I was in the middle of the woods in the middle of nowhere Vermont, perfect scary movie scenario. Haha. The house was amazing though and the people inside it were even more amazing. It was such a good weekend. It was the first time I went snowboarding for more than one day in a row. It was a great time. I mostly stayed with Katie Basse, Alexa, Katy Nardozzi, and Steve. And drove up there and back wtih Matt, whom I can't figure out if he likes me or not. Since we partied every night and then got up at 8am to snowboard all day and then came back and start the partying again at like 7pm, I was pretty tired so slept most of the week after and still managed to get all my homework done. The next weekend I didn't even time to rest because my parents came to visit. That friday night we had a BUST reunion party and then Saturday I was out all day shopping with my parents and then Benny's friend, Jeff, came to visit so I had to see him. I actually saw him friday night before I went to the party for like 15 minutes. Saturday night we saw Batman at the imax so I didn't get back till 11pm and I was too tired to hang out, so went to bed and then saw Jeff Sunday morning for brunch. My parents left already so then I spent the whole studying for the 3 midterms I had that week. Then the next weekend, once midterms were finally over, Shane Rachel and Krazy Kate came to visit ( Feb 27st-March 2nd). Friday night Matt was kind enough to let me use his apartment to throw a huge party. I gave him $200 and only got $150 back, so I basically spent $50, more than I planned to. I tried collecting money but its actually pretty hard, so glad I am not living off campus next year because I do not want to throw parties. It was a really good time though. Then saturday we walked on Newbury and I showed them the Boston Garden and Commons and then we ate at Cheers. They really loved Boston and were excited to see the city. Then at night we went to Jacobs and just had a small little party there. It was fun, as always. Then Sunday it started snowing so we just stayed inside and relaxed and saw Slumdog Millionaire. It was a pretty good movie. Then Sunday night it snowed really bad so I had off on monday, first snow day ever at BU! Shane's car was stuck in the parking spot so we had to shovel its way out, it was a good time. They stayed till Tuesday morning, then I had a busy week catching up on everything. On wednesday I met these cool grad student guys for my psych experiment and I got an MRI taken. I got some pretty cool pictures of my brain. Then last night I had frisbee practice and ran for an hour straight, it was intense, then right after that went to the movies to see watchmen at midnight, it was a weird movie. And now I am staying in on a friday night because I need to re-cooperate from every thing. Even though I'm always tired, if I didn't have so much to do, I would be bored, so I actually really like being busy. I can't wait for Canada!!!
