Last-Gasp Vacation
Well, I decided at the last minute to drive down to Newport News, VA to enjoy what little bit of summer I have left. Classes start up on the 25th (yes, my birthday...aaugh!), so I basically am back to work. Mind you, I'm not complaining that I spent most of this summer doing a whole lot of nothing, except teaching those 2 summer school classes, and traveling back and forth between NYC and Harrisburg. Given how the second half of my summer went (July, specifically), I am SO ready to go back to work. I'm ready to educated the masses, and screw with the messes. I love my job! :-)
But, before that happens, I have to finish the vacation. I will be arriving in Harrisburg later today. Woohoo! I'm looking forward to yet another bear HH. Unfortunately, I don't think I will be back at one again until November. Yeah, I'm sad too. Hope to see a lot of you there! We can celebrate my birthday a week early!
