NYC Trip - Days 3-6

Day 3: Albany, NY
Made my acquaintance with some people in Albany. ;-)  Well, I had to do something while Mike was at work...hehehe.  I also managed to get my grades for Point Park in, thereby completely finishing my obligations for the Spring 2007 semester.  So I worked and played!

Day 4: Albany, NY
I actually spent a good bit of this day, of all things, shopping. :-)  We stayed at the Econo Lodge right across the street from the Colonie Center Mall.  So I went to lunch, walked through the Borders, and then went to the mall.  Walked through the mall, bought some new clothes, and then went back to the hotel.  I FINALLY got to meet
usmcbeardad's friends Sean and Jeff (who btw want to emigrate to Canada).  They are absolute sweethearts.  We ate like pigs at the Smokey Bones.  Mike and I then went on a brief tour of Albany, then back to the hotel.

Day 5: Albany, NY and trip back to NYC
This day was highlighted by some firsts for me.  I had mentioned to Mike that I had never been to New England, so he took me on a tour.  We left Albany and drove through Vermont, Massachusetts, and Connecticut on our way back to New York.  It was very nice...and beautiful up there.  I also realized that I would probably never live up there. LOL.

Day 6: Queens, NYC, NY
OK, so I couldn't avoid it.  I spent the vast majority of this day WORKING.  Aaugh!  Well, I do have 2 classes I'm teaching this summer, and if I'm going to feel comfortable going to Harrisburg for the Bear Happy Hour, I have to get some stuff done now.
