some true facts about me.

I knew that relationships this summer would be redefined. I thought a few of them would end, a few would strengthen, and a few would manifest themselves in different ways. But this is not what I had in mind. It seems that the people I thought knew me really haven't the faintest idea of who I am.

So for them, and anyone else, here are some true facts about me (partially inspired by Nicolette).

1. I am not as secure or confident as I let on.
2. My real best friend and I have not spoken in six months...Sp really, I don't have a best friend.
3. I have a four foot tall Winnie the Pooh stuffed animal on the floor of my closet. When I am sad or lonely, sometimes he sleeps on my bed.
4. I am having difficulty finding a job.
5. When I am passionate about the subject, I am a phenomenal writer.
6. I go to the gym everyday.
7. I have a metabolic deficiency.
8. My Hebrew handwriting is far better than my English handwriting.
9. I love red roses, tulips, orchids, and gladiolas.
10. The last flowers I received from a boy were gladiolas.
11. I love the pressure of finals week.
12. I am about to begin learning my fourth language
13. I am terrified of alligators and scorpions.
14. I order fresh pomegranate and Orange juice mix in Jerusalem.
15. I cry every time I watch the 4th Harry Potter movie when Harry cries outside the maze.
16. I once had dinner with Erin Gruwell, the heroine of the movie/book, The Freedom Writers (Diary).
17. It has been a long time since I have dated a nice guy.
18. I firmly believe that Die Hard With a Vengeance is one of the greatest action movies ever made.
19. My closest relative is my Aunt Barbara.
20. I take pictures everywhere to subconciously prove that I have friends.
21. I like snowglobes and other useless glass things.
22. I use daydreams to escape the pain of the present.
23. Earbuds drive me insane. I can't keep them on.
24. I need background noise to fall asleep.
25. I prefer the cold over the heat.
26. My room is painted red.
27. I am Jewish and proud of it.
28. I hate scented Kleenex.
29. I probably read in full 2-4 of all of the books I was assigned to read in High School.
30. My computer is an HP notebook.
31. Unlike most girls, my dream wedding is not all planned. But my wedding song will be Idan Raichel's Mi'mamakim.
32. I have a "Do Not Disturb" sign on my doorknob that I stole from a hotel in Jerusalem three years ago.
33. I think Facebook Poking is extremely creepy.
34. If you say you are going to call me, you better do it. Even if you call to say you can't talk and you will call later.
35. I get a sense of fulfillment from getting rid of things.
36. I have more scarves than a human could ever need.
37. I am not a liscenced driver.
38. I used to sing quite well. I liked to sing "The Rainbow Connection".
39. I once had more than 200 Beanie (Original) Babies.
40. I still remember most of their names.
41. I love my brother more than anything, but I often feel trapped in his shadow.
42. Weird middle-aged men try to contact me (and probably every other female) on SKYPE.
43. When I am at the beach, I often can't enjoy the water because I am always looking for seashells.
44. I have the bulk of the US constitution and the text of the Kyoto Protocol committed to memory.
45. I am ethnically American and culturally Israeli.
46. That said, my best friend from first semester is the daughter of an Arab ambassador.
47. I don't generally overpack, but I begin to pack WAY in advance of my trips.
48. Though most of my friends do, I do not, and have not smoked weed.
49. At School, I eat Mac 'n Cheese for lunch with Sydney Schwartz every Wednesday at 1:00pm.
50. I give my whole heart away to the people I believe are my true friends. More often then not, they break it.
