Life is so incredibly busy.
I love every second of it though. I wouldn't change it for anything.
Recruitment has started, we have so much to do. Our chapter meeting was 2 hours long tonight. So much to do, so little time!
I joined GAMMA, greeks advocating mature management of alcohol. I felt like I needed to be more involved, so yeah...
I'm also going to join the Allegheny County Pharamcists Association. I kind of feel like I need to be in something pharmacy related to make connections & to look good on resumes & stuff.
YEP.
Last weekend was the retreat. I was just there for Friday night til about 2:45 Saturday afternoon, but it was a lot of fun. It was about 2 and a half hours away. It was definitely out in the country, but the lodges were super nice & it was awesome to be around a campfire & make hot dogs & just hang out with some of my most favorite people ever.
Kim was here when I got back (my best friend from first semester last year who transferred back home to Buffalo). It was amazing to hang out with her again. I had missed her so much. She is honestly one of the greatest people I have ever met. I would not have survived last year without her...like I can't even explain. But anyways, she visited & it was awesome. She brought her bf too & he was great. So all in all, it was a TAUsome weekend! :)
This weekend is pretty busy as well-
friday is a shopping adventure/dinner at friday's (we went last week for that special, $12.99 for appetizer, entree & dessert..its amazing & we're all obsessed now & must make a return visit). then, friday night is a drive-in movie on the smaller football field. i think thats like the cutest thing ever so a bunch of us are going & its going to be supercute. plus the movie is batman begins which i still havent seen, so score!
saturday i have to go to this program called 'something of value'. its for the sorority, theres like 10 of us going & i guess we like just got randomly picked? its like all day 9-5, so thats gonna be fun. We also have a mixer that night, but because its with sig-nu, who are creepy & ive DEFINITELY had bad experiences with, i just want to avoid them & am not going...
im hanging out with bryan instead, so that will be fun.
well, i have class in 5 hours, so maybe i should at least try to get a little sleep! i have so much more that i didnt even talk about! man, i need to update this thing more often...i'll work on that.
