Arts Fest
so Arts Fest up at PSU was this past weekend. So much fun haha Any weekend at PSU is fun but it was just nice to be able to drink a beer out on the porch and watch people go by. Or go dance in the rain and have everyone watch you haha.
I drove out and picked carley up after work on Thursday and we went up to PSU from there. Julie was at the library so we had an entertaining trip to Pita Pit, as it always is. Then we went back and started to drink. I was so tired Thursday night that i started to pass out in the bean bag chair in Stevesies room and ended up just sleeping on a couch in the brother's room.
Friday was the first day i showered at Mud haha you think with all the weekends i spend there i would have used the shower before. But thanks to Julie the bathroom was as clean as possible. We walked aroudn the stands during the day...I got a cute pug picture (ok some people may not think its cute, but it really does look like Scooter) and these really pretty earrings. It was insanely hot though. Julie and I made mashed potatoes and green beans to go with Colin's food. Ok, it was mostly julie, but i attempted to peel potatoes and i actually did cut them up and put them in the water---that counts, right? Then it was Mai Tai night...or 2 beers, a Mike's, 2 mai tais and an unknown amount of Goldschlager night. Obviously that didn't end well...especially me screaming "fuck you" to anyone that tried to help me and then apologizing a million times to Colin. I woke up Saturday morning on a couch in Stevesies room with a blanket over me and a trash can next to my head and no clue how i got there. Must have been a good night.
Saturday was spent recovering, watching some ESPN SportsCenter and eventually getting another shower at Mud--i know, 2 in 2 days, its a shock. Julie and i went shopping for food for Sunday's breakfast and then Mike and Blue went and got us wine to go with our spaghetti dinner. I went up and cleaned up the bathroom that saw the worst of my night before and then we all had yummy spaghetti and our wine out on the porch. Jake and his friend from home, John, stopped by the house for a little. Jake was a little hungover and wouldn't drink with me :-( lol They left to walk around arts fest and of course the drinking continued at Mud. Carley and i got Raspberry Twisted Tea and there was a keg again at the house. And then I decided it was a good idea to play in the rain in my white beater. Smart one. Actually it wasn't too bad, and I had fun so thats what counts. I was completely drenched all night but i got people to come jump in the river in the street with me. Pete and Robert and them showed up later and i convinced Pete that we needed some Mike's Hard Lemonade--yum. Later Blue and I went to Gumby's and got some free Pokey sticks and then sold some to a kid for $1. (i ended up giving Carley the dollar since she dove on the floor...twice) I also almost took a cigarette laced with coke...that would have been bad. J Ro and his friends showed up but i was tired by then so I went upstairs, watched some tv in Souza's room and ended up falling asleep on the really really hard floor. It was cold too since he had his air conditioning going.
Woke up 4 hours later to "help" Julie with breakfast---i got the sausage out of the microwave and set it on the table. It was yummy and it was nice to just sit on the porch in the morning with a lot of people and talk about the weekend. we decided to go look at the arts fest booths one last time so julie, blue, mike, carley, some other guy and me all walked around on campus for a little. By then my car was no longer parked in so Carley and I packed up and left :-( The ride home wasn't too bad cept i almost fell asleep at the wheel a few times before i got my Starbucks on the turnpike. It just sucked cause i didn't wanna be going home, I wanted to turn around after i dropped Carley off and head back to State College.
So now I'm home and its nowhere near as fun. Oh well, I'll be back at psu in just a few more weeks and everything will be back to normal. I'm gonna stop typing now cause this entry is already way to long! haha
