So, I'm pretty excited about the semester. I know some of the classes will be difficult, but they're at least interesting to me.
I'm sort of worried about JMC 590 (Mass Communications Law). I have it with Haney. Now, i'm like part republican part democrat. However, the guy that teaches the class is like 100% liberal -- i'm talking more liberal than Hilary Clinton (and i didn't think that was possible). So that could be intersting, and i'm sort of nervous.
But with 19 hours i should be busy enough. Plus, i'm the VP of student ambassadors, and i'm not getting credit anymore, so it's sort of like having 21 hours!
Plus i have PRSSA, Ads Club, Marketing and Management club, 4 honor societies, Sigma, and Miss MSU. We should be starting Miss MSU stuff in like a month or so. Plus in sigma, i was Parliamentarian and RPM Philanthropy chair.
So, i talked to Meghan, the president of Tri Sigma tonight because i was about to have a nervous breakdown and i asked her if it would be ok if i dropped RPM chair. The main event for it is Run For Robbie, which is exactly 2 weeks from Miss MSU. I decided that during the most strenuous Miss MSU practices i would need to be doing most of my Run for Robbie stuff, especially the PR and organizing food for the event.
Meghan was super-awesome and was cool with me just giving the chair to my co-chair. But then she asked me to do the Public Relations chair. I went ahead and took the chair because we both understood that it would not be as much work as having an event to plan. Plus, any PR chair would look good for me since i'm a PR major. So, i still have the same activities and the same amount of chairs. I just exchanged chairs for one that takes up a little less time.
It's amazing how much weight that took off of my shoulders!!
