How Christian conservatives see gay rights

I happened upon a picture of Jane Lynch and her wife Dr. Lara Embry, and I thought to myself, "Why does that name sound familiar, Dr. Lara Embry?"  So I googled her and was reminded that Embry was part of a very famous gay rights court case in Florida.

What's interesting to me is that - especially because Dr. Embry's ex-partner became an anti-gay Christian - the Christian conservative media was all over this case.  I think it's important we read what they say and how they say it so we can deconstruct their lunacy in the future.

So compare:
Adoption by Sarasota lesbian is upheld on appeal (Sarasota Herald Tribune)

Vs:
Another lesbian demands custody of Christian girl (WorldNetDaily.com)

And yes, "Another" was italicized in their headline.  Get used to it, WorldNetDaily - the lesbians are surely out to eat your children. *sigh*

media, gay rights, same-sex marriage, lgbt, lesbian, glee
