He's the longtime world #1 and two-time defending champ, but he had no ego problems whatsoever being relegated to the much smaller Louis Armstrong stadium instead of Ashe Stadium.
He much more cared that he would be guaranteed a particular time to play. And of course he dismantled his opponent again (in a prior round, not right now during his quarterfinal match with Blake), even in "small" Louis Armstrong.

Still on tennis for a moment, it's great that the US National Tennis Center has two stadia named after black folks (Armstrong and Ashe), one of whom died fighting the AIDS pandemic, and the whole venue is now named after a lesbian!
On the face of it one might think that the US Tennis Association was one of the most progressive organization in the country. One would be wrong of course, but it's an interesting situation nonetheless.
