Stalyn
So I'm at the Juan Valdez Cafe ordering my "lunch" and I notice the counterperson (a young, hot Latino boy of course *sigh*) has a name tag reading Stalyn.
Of course the first thing that came to my mind is, this boy's parents could not possibly have named their child after one of the bloodiest dictators of the 20th Century. I mean, it's got to be pronounced "stay-leen" or "STY-lin" or something else, right?
Nope, it's "stah-lin". I ask if it's a family name and he says yes.
I didn't have the heart to ask what his middle name was. :-)
