Yard Sale / Wimbledon
From 10am to 4pm I'm selling stuff as part of a yard sale being organized by circesbed at the home of cappyhead (can't wait to see the short hair!) and grendelgongon (already shorter haired and too cute!). Please feel free to drop by and buy our stuff. You can call me or one of them if you need directions.
It's good that the whole LJ system keeps pressure on me to keep my blog current. Because without that kinda pressure I'd surely be three months out-of-date on postings!
So much has gone on with me in the past week, so much I should have written about already but I haven't had the time. Maybe it's Wimbledon which is distracting me? Yeah, that's a good excuse. :-)
Staying with tennis for a second, we have two interesting Wimbledon finals coming up. Today's ladies final is between Amelie "Go Power Lesbian!" Mauresmo and Justine "I'll even cheat to win" Henin-Hardenne. It should be very entertaining tennis since Amelie comes to the net a lot, and Justine has an awesome all-court game. I'm pulling for Amelie to win, but I think Justine will pull it out.
Do not miss tomorrow's men's final between Roger Federer (world #1) and Rafael Nadal (world #2)! One of them will be producing incredible tennis on the game biggest stage, the cathedral of tennis. And if both of them happen to produce their best tennis at the same time... If you watch one tennis match this year, make it this one.
