Giving props to Mr. John Amaechi
Omigod, how much do I loooooove (read: lust after shamelessly) John Amaechi, the first and only - former or otherwise - NBA player to come out as queer?
*sigh* Too much.
Anyway, he's coming to a town near you as part of HRC's Coming Out Project -- get him while he's hot! You may recall that last year I saw George Takei as part of the Coming Out Project and it was a wonderful, entirely free event.
