Helloooooo summer!
School is finally over!! Today was the last day. I don't have to think of college for the next 3+ months. I'm done with exams and politics (lol) and all these stuff.
My last exam was the best, best, best in the world. Tennis commentating...and you know what they gave me?? A-Rod. I actually had two choices. I could choose between Rome 2006, Andy vs Baggy or Rome 2007 Andy vs Chela (live). Well i chose the first one, not only because it's one of my fave matches ever, not only because i've seen it more than 4 times and i know every single drop shot, but because i really wanted to watch the "new" match without being nervous and i also didn't want to jinx it.
Practically it didn't matter cause Andy lost. I mean ok, i don't have high hopes and expectations from the Americans on clay but that was kinda embarrassing.
BUT, Mr Roddick wasn't the top story yesterday...Roger Federer was!!! Yes yes i couldn't believe it either. When i left college his match was about to start and by the time i came home it was over. I didn't see the results, i didn't hear the news and in general i had no idea. The surprise came when i was watching Rafa vs Youzny a few hours later. The commentator said what happened during the day...and i heard "Andy Roddick lost to Chela, Massu lost to Goznales...bla bla bla... but THE upset of the week was Roger Federer". Seriously my jaw dropped lol. The first thing that came out of my mouth was "Holly shit" (even the neighbor heard that lol). Wow now, that was really embarrassing, especially if your name is Federer. If you imagine that last year he had 4 loses all year and by that time he had more that 5 titles..man..I mean how many titles he has for 2007?? Two? Wow wow and wow. I don't mean to shoot him or anything and i know that is hard to be No1 in the world all the time, but no excuses!
Rafa won ofcourse, but the poor guy went to the hospital :(
In other news, i have to go to the "summer break" party of my college tomorrow. It's like a promp, but not that formal. I still don't know what to wear...any ideas? And i was wondering, since Andy is in europe (Italy is two hours away from Greece), will he be interested to come with me ??? hahahahahahaha :PPPPPP
