Yesterday, I discovered the majesty and glory that is photoshop, and spent an addicting two hours smudging barbie's face, turning her orange, and covering her in plastic wrap. :)
I also stole my boyfriend (still haven't gotten used to calling him that) and my roommate for a study break, and we ended up going to Barnes and Noble... where we ran into Rae, Amy D, and Boothy, along with Mike. Since Jodi Picoult (one of Erin's and my fave authors) is going to be in a bookstore on broadway, I'm going to take her copy of "Perfect Match" and mine too, to get signed. I also had an interesting conversation with Amy D about Celtic paganism... it's nice to ask a PRACTICING pagan this stuff, and get honest answers.
I explained that a cornerstone of my faith as a Christian is being able to talk about it, and witness to others... that doesn't, however, mean that my type of witnessing is shirt-grabbing, you're-going-to-hell type. I believe that religious freedom is one of the things that makes this country great, which essentially means that you're allowed to believe what you believe, and I won't shove my faith down your throat or make you feel bad about it as long as you extend the same courtesy to me. Luckily, my friends understand this :).
I love you guys, and I am so blessed to have you. Thank you.
