I noticed it the second it happened. No commentator or sports blogger had to point it out to me.
Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Finals in 2008, Zetterberg takes a shot that hits Pens goale Fleury in the backside and trickles over the goal line. It turns out to be the Cup-winning goal.
Last night, game 6 of the Finals 2009, Hank take a shot that hits Fleury in the rear, trickles toward the goal line....and stops. Fleury is able to cover and make the save.
It looked so much like last year's play I got goosebumps.
Bad omen?
