Home? Sweet! Home!
A week ago today, my family was stuck in my mother-in-law's house with only one beat up old car to get us around. Today, we not only have a shiny new minivan, we also have signed a lease on a house.
I cannot tell you how good it feels to know we're getting a fresh start. I feel like I finally got a foot on a ladder rung after so many years of trying. I'm not going so far as to say all my dreams have come true, but this is a huge step for us. Graduating college, getting a job with good pay, getting a car, renting a home, and settling in with my wife and three kids... I'm not sure I deserve all of it, but I'll always be grateful.
