I understand why they wouldn't want to swap it to completely unmoderated though, as I've seen others comms do that that when the mods can't always be around, and end up with lots of spam because no-ones around to deal with it.
As for what is/isn't posting currently, that depends how they've set things up. The comm shows as moderated in it's profile, but that covers all levels of moderation, so it could mean all posts go in the queue, just posts with links in them (although links to white-listed sites would bypass that), just posts from some members (it can be set so selected members posts go straight through and bypass the queue no matter what they post), or a combination of those settings.
It's been some time since I tried to post, and I honestly can't recall what I tried to post that last time, so it might have been something with a link, and if links go to the queue it might have failed as a result of that. Given some clearly have managed to post maybe it is links causing the problem, perhaps combined with the selected members thing?
