I couldn't contain myself until you got this up, so I posted some observations in my journal, go there.

Oooh, I'll have to check that out in a sec.

I had seen enough comments today about the BBC being "worried" about that scene that I expected it to be much worse than it was.

Same. Yes, it was brutal, but we are talking about a couple that regularly has very D/s-ish rough sex. I think the worst bit of it was not the act itself, but that it was dubious consent. Still, Freya didn't say anything to stop him, though I think she was mostly in shock.

I feel just as stupid about why Aiden meets with constituents. Apparently he resigned a position in the cabinet, but still holds local office? That's my attempt at understanding anyway, especially after he said the people confuse influence with power.

Glad I'm not the only one confused by that aspect of his plot! I think you're right about still holding local office, it just isn't very clear (maybe that's just something Brits would know without having to explain it?).

David is too skinny to belly flop successfully, he wouldn't exactly empty out the pool.

*snorfle* True. :)

I was too busy looking at David's ass tonight. Was the DoP a woman?

Or a gay man, at least (though I know a few straight men with a 'mancrush' on DT, so you never know)? Yeah, I had the same problem. That and his crotch. God, in that scene where Dita is serving him dinner (lunch?) and he's in the khaki trousers, they leave little to the imagination. I had to rewind that scene and watch it twice. Yeah, I'm not proud.

I had to look up "gurning." He does have a face, doesn't he? I repeat that I loved how the camera just stayed on his face for some scenes, like when observing Freya and Bruce. Yes, his ass is nice, but his face has emotions.

He has a very expressive face, yes. It's one thing I love about him. :)

David has a torso which does not stop.

God, I know! Point of fact, I might have even made an embarrassing noise when I first saw said torso on the big-big-big screen in Fright Night, with those sew-on leather trousers low on his hips. My husband giggled at me.

I just have to say, if there are 3 of him, can I have one?!

LOL at that article. Oh, David! And yes, I'd love to have one as well! I promise to take really, really god care of him!

I think I'm going to need an Aiden icon soon.
