the reasons given for the votes:

- It's too simple. The text is plain and doesn't stand out.
- The spacing between the lines of the quote is too big
- The notebook texture/background seems out of place.
- the basic idea is great but I really, really don'T like the font. it looks a little ... "loveless" if that makes sense?
- I don't think that the font works well.

- The text is not well balanced on the background and the drop shadow behind the letters is too heavy. They seem to float in air now.
- Text looks cluttered
+ The text was clear and easy to read. The background and font colors work very well together. I also like the different fonts used. They convey the quote aptly.

- The text is too small, almost unreadable.
- Quote is too long and font used too small and bright, thus hard to read
- The text isn't easy to read. The color of the background does not contrast enough with the text. In addition, the font choice also makes it hard to read.
- it's just way too hard to read. I have to bend all over my computer screen to figure out what was being written :(
- Despite being a good/funny quote, It's a bit squashed up, I prefer less crowded text that I don't have to lean forward to read.
- It's very hard to read, maybe because it's too much text all shoved together.
+ Good font placement and use of a stock image.

- The text blends into the background too much. The lining of the text and shadow should be a bit darker to make it more readable.
+ a) love the quote. b) the font is great, it's the right size, the colours fit well ... love it all :)
+ The colour is appropriate for the quote and the text placement is well-balanced.

- The text is overlapping the image of the TARDIS. It makes some of the letters hard to read and the image of the TARDIS to be redundant.
- The cut out TARDIS makes the icon too busy
- There needs to be more variation with the text, either in size or font choice, due to the amount. 'WOULD' overlapping the TARDIS looks awkward.
- Again, squashed up writing. I'm not a fan.
