A skip can be used when you can't enter a challenge for whatever reason. Just let me know here which challenge you need to skip and why (unless it's too personal, then just say so), you don't have to enter that challenge then and won't be disqualified.
Every participant has one skip chance from the beginning of the round. You can earn one additional skip by promoting this community, for example mentioning it in your personal journal, graphics journal etc. Leave a comment here with a link to that entry and I'll give you an extra skip.
If you don't enter a challenge in time and didn't tell me in advance, your skip will automatically be used. Once you've used up your skip(s) and fail to enter another challenge you will be disqualified for inactivity.
Skips cannot be used in the very first challenge of a round nor in the last two challenges of that round.
