[So guess what Chrono's cursed with? As he switches on his post, he takes a deep breath, and...starts to sing. Not all that well, so normally he wouldn't bother the City with it, but--hey, he can't help it today.]

I'm not always like this ( Read more... )

!curse day, !affected, sing and shout day, !grab bag

Is that supposed to mean something?

I think the curse is picking songs that match my general mood, or the subject I mean to talk about. I don't know most of the songs I'm actually singing, except for the occasional Beatles song.

Shader! Don't--

Stitch up your lips with pins and please
Never, never tell my secrets
We are the ones without disease
But medicine is still much needed

...Those are all some very...interesting songs? What sort of instrument is that on the first one? It sounds really odd...not natural.

I’m amazed how things can change.
How the real world can chase our dreams away.
How did you give up so easily?
'Cause I’d rather make them bury me... so let's

Runaway from everything you hate,
Runaway to everything you've wanted
Take my hand, let's get famous.
We'll runaway from everything you've fought
Runaway to everything you've loved
Take my hand, let's get famous

Favorite Musical Instruments (In No Particular Order) brainsnotfists August 9 2009, 04:00:22 UTC
1. Organs
2. Blues harp (as in harmonica)
3. Guitar
4. Theremin
5. Drums
6. Saxophone (sexyphone!)
7. Synthesizer
That's because it's not. It's a synthesizer. I think I love them even more than organs or theremins.

A synthesizer...so it's some sort of machine? Makes sense why you'd like it then.

Domo arigato Mr. Roboto

...Did I just sing in Japanese?

I do like saxophones, though. And organs. But I think some people have voices that are even more beautiful than an instrument.

Bwah-hahahahah. Yes you did. I've infected you with eighties pop.

Random Songs From the Eighties
1. Whip it Good
2.She Blinded me with Science
3. Should I Stay or Should I Go
4. Mr. Roboto

Synthesizers are electronic instruments that can sound like just about anything you want them to sound like.

Eighties pop? You mean 1980s? I'm singing songs from then?

Once I ran to you (I ran)
Now I'll run from you
This tainted love you've given
I give you all a boy could give you
Take my tears and that's not nearly all
Oh...tainted love
Tainted love

Wow, really? I guess that's darb, to be able to have one instrument that can do all that.

You mean I'm just going to keep singing songs from then? Why is everything I'm singning so dependant on what people say to me? It's like I can't--

Can't stop, won't stop praying for desire
Like the bunny on the screen feel so energized
Old shell gone without a trace, new face
No more shortness of breath, new pace

That doesn't even make sense.

It might depend on a lot of factors.

Those lyrics. *snicker*

And they probably keep changing it just to confuse me.

You spin me right round baby, right round
Like a record player right round round round
