[Chrono's sitting on his bed, looking down at his arms. There's a basin of water off to the side--after trying unsuccesfully to wash off the blood in the bathroom he's moved himself to his room, but at this point he's pretty much given up on getting the blood off--even when it does come off on a towel, it just comes back.

He glances up when he hears the door open, and frowns instantly when he sees who it is--but she would've figured out where he was even if he hadn't told her. Besides, she already knew what a monster he really was.]

[She stood in the doorway for a moment, before sliding her hands free of the sleeves and holding them up for inspection. Her fingers and wrists and the skin beneath the sleeves were stained red, dripping down from an unseen place.]

You remember Rizelle, Lerajie, those demon summoners upstate that had us surrounded. There's been plenty that would count.

[She moves to the bed and sits down beside him, wrapping her hands in the sleeves of the black sweater again, the material damp up to her forearms.]

Some people have blood on their hands for other reasons then being a monster. Chrno. I'd say you're one of them.

[And she butts him with her elbow a little.]
