Summer drags on

So, update time again. I've been meaning to update for the past couple days, but there's been so much negativity that I decided to wait until it had cooled down.

First off, more shit going on with school. They really don't seem to want me to go there. I've had to go in almost every day this week to deal with something or other, most of which could PROBABLY be done over the phone. I did call, originally, and the woman who answered basically told me everything I was saying was wrong and that I was stupid. No joke, she was that fucking rude. Me being the type to stand up for myself, told her that I didn't appreciate the way she was speaking to me, and so... she hung up on me. Good start!

So I've had to work channels to bypass this woman, who seems hell-bent on preventing me from going to school there. I have still more work to do on Monday, but at least it's some progress. How can such an incompetent employee work there?! I do not understand it.

So been pretty upset about that, haven't had much time to do fun summer things. I did go out last Sunday and had a great time with friends! Curry, shopping, and karaoke! What could be better?! I want to have more weekends like that!

Gaming-wise, Starcraft II is out, and I've been playing that in my fairly limited spare time. It's pretty tough for me, being that I suck at RTS games. But the game has gorgeous graphics (at Ultra settings, cos my computer is cool like that), and the story is engaging. So far, it's a great game that has me very interested. I just wish I was better at it. XD

Moitie has a new print out, but it's not even on the webshop yet. ;~; It's so pretty! Apparently it's called the Divine Cross print (can be seen here) and it's the first print to come in a black x gold colorway! The black x gold version is/was limited to the Sendai store it seems, but perhaps more will be made when they see how popular it is. ^^ I hope to get the JSK in black x blue or black x white when it comes to the webshop, since those are most of the accessories I have. It's a good design for my body type as well, so I'm quite excited. Let's hope it shows up soon!

The VK world has been busy with so much crap going on, I've kind of been avoiding it. D'espairsRay's tour has been causing soooo much drama. Waah they won't come to my city, wahhh it's on a bad day, wahhh they should come to Europe instead, etcetcetc. It's really tiring to read. Of course you want the band to come to your city, but they can't go everywhere... I hear about bands I like touring all over the place where I can't go, but I don't complain. I am happy that the bands are touring *at all* and fans are getting a chance to see them *somewhere.* Gosh, what happened to a sense of community? Be happy for those who get to see them now, and in the future it will be your chance sometime! I personally am happy that D'espa is in the US at all, and is doing their best to go as many places as they can on their budget. The economy in Japan sucks even more than the US, we're pretty lucky they're here at all.

Even so, I am going to see them ummm next Tuesday actually! I'm very excited. It'll be my... fourth time seeing them I believe. They always put on a great show, and I have no doubts this one will be great as well. I haven't had much chance to listen to their new album, but from what I have heard it's really awesome! It sounds like it will be fantastic live, so I've got nothing but excited anticipation for the live.

Then of course, sad news regarding... many people actually. Daisuke's death, which I wrote about last time. Zill from Moran also passing away... and then just today (yesterday?), vistlip getting in a bad car crash resulting in the death of their manager! It's so awful. :( I don't know what to make of all this bad mojo. I hope it stops soon!

What else... new Buck Tick album (or was it a single?) that I'm cautiously excited about. Kain finally getting a new member which may or may not result in an actual release. I might be the only person that knows that band exists, however. lynch. going major, which has resulted in a bunch of kids being angry their band won't be leet and underground anymore. I really hate underground music fandom. Hazuki needs to make a goddamn living, can't stay indies forever. Be fucking happy he's gonna be making more money, so he can have a good life. It's his band, support his goddamn decisions and have faith that he's making the right decision for the music. I'm so tired of all the elitist immature fans acting like entitled assholes. Get over yourselves.

Getting on a bit of a tangent there, but it's probably for the best. This entry has taken a direction I didn't originally plan on and has become quite long. Oops. XD I should stop now and save something for next time.

Moral of all this- Appreciate what you have and be happy for those who gain something in life. Stop being so envious of others. Life is too short for that.

That's all for now.
