Miyavi concert was fucking awesome! I enjoyed it quite a bit more than I thought I would. Meevers seems to have grown so much (in style) since I saw him last. I have to say the songs he introduced as new blew me away. I might actually start listening to his recorded works again if they sound anything like that on CD. :D
Sat in the "VIP" area, or whatever, which was nice. Yoshiki was up there, as well as Sugizo for the last half of the show. Miyavi's wife was there for some of the time and she was holding what I presume is their daughter. She was dancing with the baby. So cute!
Will say Miyavi is looking really skinny. Someone should feed that poor boy. Yoshiki is also looking his age. Someone should give that man some botox! Sugizo looked sexy as ever and I might have drooled a bit. Will not confirm.
Met up with old friends, always a good thing. I have pics which I'll add later, cos I'm fuckin' tired right now and I just want to crash. XD Anyway, my evening was just about perfect and I'm feeling much better than I was at the time of my previous post. Still haven't got some of those issues resolved, but it's one of those things I can't resolve by myself... will have to see what happens.
Downside to tonight: One of my rings broke. Sad! Upside, it was a cheap ring anyway.
Oh, bonus, on the way out some staff asked for my picture. Said something about a music video? Iunno, but it helped me ascertain that my outfit was not a disaster as previously feared. I didn't know how heels would work with that outfit but overall I'm satisfied. Wish I could do more with my hair. I am fail at hair.
SO now I'm rambling. Should sleep. Pics later as I already said. Only one thing left to say!
