Happy Girl's Day!

Mar 04, 2004 17:29

Yeah, so I'm a day late... but oh well. It was Girl's Day in Japan yesterday (Well, our yesterday. They have a +17 hour time difference, so it's already the 5th there.), and Amber reminded me of that by sending a random instant message.

Oh, in regards to yesterday, I finlly got my shirt from the radio station! Heh... According to Lauren (and many of the DJs when Mike first showed us the picture), the drawing on the shirt looks like a striped bear with tentacles. I think that's why Mike put, "This is a tiger" at the bottom... ^.^

The Lords of the Rings: The Return of the King soundtrack is addictive. Is that a bad thing? I can't seem to stop listening to it. I don't think it's a good kind of addictive either, since it keeps on putting me into a weird, sad sort of mood. I like it, though! Especially when Billy Boyd sings (which is playing right now! yay!) in the track called "The Steward of Gondor". And the song Annie Lennox sings (and got an Academy Award for) "Into the West".

Hmm... My theology class was canceled today, since we had the midterm on Tuesday and there would have been nothing for us to do or discuss. I'm glad. That class is kind of annoying, and the midterm was a joke. Oh well. At least it was easy, although I have a feeling he'll give me a B or B+ on the thing, since that's what he seems to be giving me on all my papers (including the paper, which only had 1 thing wrong with it: I used a semi-colon instead of a comma by accident. Grr.)...

The geography midterm wasn't that bad. It was a lot of writing, but we got to use our notebooks for it. Kind of like the communications midterm, which was open book, and she even gave us the topics beforehand. That's why I got a twenty out of twenty on it. ^.^ And yes, the comm. midterm was only worth 20 points. Amusing, isn't it?

Bad news: Lauren's television is somehow broken. You turn it on, and it seems fine, but ten to fifteen seconds later it suddenly turns off. She's planning on getting a new one this weekend, so it'll be fine. I don't really watch a whole lot of television anymore... I've mainly been using it to play games on my PSOne, or watching DVDs. That's why it's bad news. I wanted to play DDR or some other game when I got back from classes, but I couldn't. *pouts*

all we need is music, school, that thing called work, friends
