April 26th was Bomb Day!

Let's see... what has happened since I last posted..

On Friday, Doc and I met the girl (Kristen) who lives on the 2nd floor where Viet lives. It was great! We had seen her Kenshin posters on the wall through the window whenever we walked by, but we had never gotten around to actually going over and introducing ourselves. Turns out we didn't really need to. ^.^ We ran into her on the escalator in UHall completely by accident after commenting on her Sailor Moon and DBZ patches. It was great! Yay! Another anime fan at LMU! Score!

The oral presentation Doc and I had went well. We taped it on Saturday with Kati's help and then she edited it for us. Doc does a Kage Bunshin and I do a henshin so it's so amusing. Besides, how could it have gone wrong? I call up a stuffed Pikachu, Hamtaro, and Togepi to attack Doc, then he sends the Pikachu back to attack me. Hehe. The rest of the class (including Kinjo-sensei) thought it was amusing. The only bad thing was that we mentioned Sean in it, but Sean didn't show up to class, the bugger.
We were supposed to show the thing on Monday, but as all LMU students know, classes got canceled due to the West side of campus being evacuated. Now, I don't mind having classes canceled, but when you're not allowed to go back to your apartment for over 8 hours, it gets kind of frustrating. It was understandable, though. The 2 WW2 bombs some workers found while doing some excavation work off the bluff could have been dangerous (they later were found out to be duds). Because of all this happening, the students got what we are now affectionately calling "Bomb Day".

However, many of us almost got locked out of our places until 6am, so that wouldn't have been fun... Doc and I were going to spend the night at Kati's if it had happened and had a sleepover. Since we were able to go back, we decided to go over to Kati's and have a impromptu Bomb Day party, with pizza, soda, and video games. Now that was fun.

Now I get to go off to the radio station, then to dance class to perform the routine I had to choreograph. Yay...

game time!, i am such a nerd, school, friends, people who need to be set on fire
