I don't get it. I don't know a single person who voted for Bush, and I know a lot of people.

I know vets, and they all opposed Bush, some quite loudly.

The umpteen American expats I know all voted against him.

Every member of my family voted against him. I cannot vouch for extended family, but I spoke with them this summer and none openly declared supporting Bush.

Of my friends back home, I know one person who may have voted for Bush, but it's more likely he voted Libertarian.

It occurs to Americans when people they know, from Wales or New Zealand or Japan or Germany or wherever, tell them over lunch, "Every American is to blame for Bush's actions. Every single one. It doesn't matter who they vote for, every American is to blame for the 100,000 Iraqi deaths."

Americans just have no clue how stupid they look in the eyes of the world, valuing "morals" when going to the polls and then electing a candidate with no morals whatsoever.

By and large, they have no idea what is said about them in the press overseas. They have no idea how ridiculous their 'faith' looks.

Who are these people who voted for Bush? I've never met or known any of them, unless something else is going on in that ballot box.
