Oneonta
I spent the weekend visiting with my Mom and sister in Oneonta - none of us could commit to the full 7.5 hour drive to visit each other, so we met partway where Natalie attended college and stayed at the Super 8 Mom and Dad always stayed at when visiting. It was really nice to see my family. I hadn't seen them since mid August and was not going to be able to visit them until Christmas, so it was really good to get a chance to meet up. It is hard to be just far enough that it is really a lot of driving to go just for the weekend. The trip to Butler is almost half the length so we end up making it there a lot more often than we make it to NH, and much as I love the Butler people, sometimes that is kind of hard for my family to have to deal with. This was a pretty awesome compromise and I hope we get to do this more often!
