Summary: Ohtori finally gets a mission right and kidnaps Oshitari.

Yuushi struggled with the bags in his hands, catching up to his cook and surrogate mother as she sped along ahead of him to the next shop. He'd managed to slip out of the house, assuring all that he'd be fine going with Mai-san. He'd been doing well in his training, or so Akira assured him. Nothing would probably happen on a quick jaunt to the stores at any rate.

Ohtori had been following the better part of the shopping trip, he was not failing again. He had to keep defending himself as it was around the others at the school. He was a failure as far as missions went, and with all of his curiousity over Saeki, this was no time to mess around. Finally spotting his opportunity at the open air market, he moved quickly, snatching the woman by the thin wrist and tugging her roughly into the alley, clasping a hand over her mouth.

"Please stay quiet and you won't get hurt," the tall boy leaned in to whisper to the terrified woman as soothingly as he could. He didn't want to hurt her, but this seemed his best bet to get to the real target, he glanced daringly at Oshitari and raised a brow. "I trust you'll cooperate this time."

"M-Mai-san?" All of the bags in Yuushi's hands plummeted to the ground, unheeded. Fruit rolled away and other goods tumbled out around his feet, but he stood stock still just inside of the alley where he instinctively darted after the older woman, his eyes wide and partly disbelieving.

Just how did this same mutant keep popping up?

He recognized the shock of silvery hair and the tall frame, and once he got over his shock, Yuushi's eyes narrowed angrily. "Let her go."

"Then cooperate. I don't want to hurt her." He said the words quietly, nearly a whisper. He didn't want to summon the cops, he'd read somewhere that getting shot hurt badly. He took a step back, leading the woman back into the darkness a bit more.

"I don't want to hurt anyone."

"If you continue with this, you'll only fail at that", Yuushi hissed at him, reaching for the woman. "Don't be a fool. The only way not to hurt us is to leave us be."

Mai-san looked beseechingly at him, terrified and whimpering quietly into her captor's palm. But Yuushi could see that she was actually begging him to run, to escape.

That, he would not do. Not without her. He wasn't about to bow down to some petty mutant terrorist threatening one of his own, one of his family.

"Let her go!"

He really hated himself sometimes, this was already escalating beyond his comfort zone. He took a deep breath and glared at the boy again, making sure the woman was going to stay put.

"You already know what I do- you got lucky last time, do you expect her to have the same good luck?" Her hair started to stand as he slowly started to electrify the air around them. "I don't have a problem killing for my cause."

"Wait! Don't!" Yuushi saw this and acted before he'd thought it through. He leapt, his hand curling around Mai-san's arm. Yanking her free, he dropped his guard when she stumbled and fell, turning his head to look at her instead of his attacker.

A hand clamped around his upper arm and pulled. As Yuushi went forward, his face whipped back around, the fingers of his free hand curling into a fist. But his balance was off and he only glanced a blow off the other mutant's cheek.

The tingle of electicity started up his arm, and his eyes grew wide in alarm. "Aki--"

The cry died on his lips as the shock jolted through him hard, incapacitating him and leaving him to slump against his kidnapper.

Ohtori blinked at the fallen man and frowned, he was so screwed if he fried the guy's brain into a vegetable omlette. Sighing, he shook his head and picked up the slightly smoking boy and tossed him over his shoulder, aware this was going to look wrong.

Opting to look back at the woman named Mai-san apparently, he frowned. "You can tell them that he'll be fine as long as he does what is asked." And with a small nod, he turned and walked down the alley with his prize and a grin playing on his lips, if anyone asked, his friend had simply had too much to drink and passed out. That seemed a likely alibi.
