RP Log: Momo and Ryoma

Dec 14, 2005 00:19

Who: Momoshiro Takeshi and Echizen Ryoma
When: After Momo gets out of the hospital, but is still recovering from the food poisoning.
What: Momo doesn't want to stay in bed. PG.

Ryoma sighed as he stood in the doorway of Momo's bedroom. He held a steaming mug of miso soup in his hands, a request from his boyfriend earlier. After going through the trouble to make it, (burning his fingers twice in the process), he'd returned to the bedroom to find a distinct lack-of-Momoshiro element in it. Setting the mug down on the desk, he turned and stalked out of the room, grumbling about stupid stubborn boyfriends mada mada dane...

Finding a hiding spot upstairs was harder than Momo thought. He didn't want somewhere obvious, like under a bed or in the bathtub, but he didn't want to risk running downstairs, either. So he settled on standing in the hallway closet, peeking through the little blinds and grinning as Ryoma walked by. There was no way he was laying in bed for three days. No way in hell.

Stomping down the hall, Ryoma glared at all the doorways. He guessed that Momo hadn't gone downstairs, but it was always a possibility. Closing his eyes against annoyance, he took a deep breath and called out, "Momoshiro Takeshi, if you don't come out RIGHT NOW you're not getting any for a month!"

Momo watched Ryoma stop right in front of him and took a deep breath, holding it. Couldn't let his breathing give him away, now could he? But what Ryoma yelled made him gape, and he sputtered for a moment before stumbling out of the closet. "Oi, that's not fair!"

Smirking, Ryoma turned to see his boyfriend falling over himself to get out of the closet. "Worked, didn't it?" he said, then folded his arms and looked at Momo sternly. "Go get back in bed."

"You cheated." Momo huffed, then crossed his arms as well, trying not to look like he was about to fall over from being dizzy. "I've been in bed all day, Ryoma! Isn't that enough?"

Ryoma fixed the taller boy with his best intimidation glare. "The doctor said three days."

Huffing, Momo laid a hand against the the doorframe of the closet, leaning against it. "But I can't lay down for three days! That's ridiculous!"

With an elaborate eye-roll, Ryoma reached out and wrapped one arm around the other boy's waist. "Baka, you look ready to fall down," he muttered. "Quit being so stubborn and go back to bed."

"I'm not gonna fall down." Momo muttered back, but leaned against his boyfriend. "I don't wanna lay down anymore. Can't I...sit down downstairs or something?"

Ryoma looked over Momo's pale, almost greyish face, and sighed. He knew his boyfriend hated being sick, but he was really trying to do what was best for him. "You can lay down on the couch if you want," he relented slightly. "We could play a video game or watch tv or something."

Momo could live with that. Brightening considerably, Momo pressed a kiss to Ryoma's temple, grinning. "Deal."

Leading Momo back downstairs, Ryoma urged him to lie down on the couch, then handed him the remote. Frowning, he realized he'd left Momo's lunch upstairs. "I left your soup in your room. I'll be right back."

Reluctantly lying down, Momo gave a little nod and shifted onto his side, switching the TV on to some game show while he waited. Even if he was being difficult, he more than appreciated Ryoma sticking around to take care of him.

Returning to the living room, Ryoma slid down to sit by the sofa, close to Momo's head. "Here," he said, holding out the mug of soup. "Eat up." He was a bit surprised that the other boy hadn't hidden again, but he wasn't going to look a gift horse in the mouth.

Taking the mug, Momo sat up a bit and took a few sips, sighing softly. "Sankyuu." He murmured, sitting up completely so he wouldn't choke. He paused, then gave Ryoma's shirt a little tug. "Why don't you sit up here with me?"

"Don't want to get in the way, you've gotta lay back down after you finish that," Ryoma said, nodding toward the mug. However, he did slide up onto the couch, pulling Momo's legs to rest across his lap. "There, happy?"

Momo wrinkled his nose. "Hai, hai." He said, though was surprised when Ryoma did come onto the couch. Taking another sip of the soup, Momo sat the mug down and slowly shifted around, then laid his head in Ryoma's lap. "Now I am."

Smiling a bit, Ryoma shifted to get more comfortable. "Well, at least you're laying down," he said, combing his fingers through Momo's hair.

Momo sighed happily, closing his eyes at the pleasant touch. "Mm. And that's what the doctor told me to do."
[20:37] snarkyryomahat: "Aa," Ryoma replied, rubbing just behind Momo's ear, at the nape of his neck. "And you're being good about it for once." Momo's skin still felt a little too warm to the touch, and Ryoma continued to stroke his hair gently.

"For now." Momo said with a cheeky grin, turning his head a little to encourage Ryoma.

Ryoma shook his head, still combing through the short black hair. Momo probably needed a shower or bath, but he wasn't going to complain. Right now he was just glad his boyfriend was cooperating. This was only the first of three days... how Ryoma was going to keep him in bed on the third day could be challenging. "You better keep being good, baka," he warned teasingly.

"Seriously, Ryoma," Momo pouted, looking up at the boy. "Could you lay in bed for three days straight?" He asked, pouting as cutely as he could manage.

Ryoma looked down, then flicked his fingertips over the pout. "'Course I could. You know how much I like to sleep." It was a lie, of course, he'd have to be tied to bed.

Momo nipped at one of the fingers, still pouting. "I don't think you could." He sulked, eyes closing again. "This isn't fair; not fair at all."

Ryoma sighed a bit. "You'd rather be sick longer then?" He understood that Momo was bored and frustrated, but was he going to have to argue with him constantly for three days?

"Of course not!" Momo eyes snapped open, wide at the thought of being sick again, and possibly ending up back in the hospital. He sighed, shifting onto his side and pressed his face against Ryoma's shirt. "I'm sorry. I just don't like this."

"I know you don't," Ryoma murmured, rubbing the other boy's back. "Don't know anyone who does like being sick... if they do, they're weird."

"Mm." He agreed, nuzzling a little against his boyfriend's stomach. "I'm just glad you didn't end up getting sick, too. That would've really sucked." And if their positions had been reversed, he'd probably be at Ryoma's house taking care of him, too.

"Yeah, it would," Ryoma agreed, shuddering a little. He didn't even want to think about that possibility. He stayed silent a moment longer, absently caressing Momo's back and hair. "Anything you need right now?" he asked after awhile.

Momo shook his head, hand immediately grabbing onto Ryoma's shirt. "You're not going anywhere." He said firmly. "If I have to lay around all day, you have to stay with me."

Ryoma blinked down at him. "Didn't say I was going anywhere," he grumbled. "Just wanted to see if I could help you feel better is all. You could use some water or something. Hmph."

Pouting back, Momo leaned up just enough to kiss his boyfriend. "Don't worry about any of that. I don't need anything. Laying here with you is making me feel better anyway, honest."

"Good," Ryoma said, leaning back on the couch and yawning. He was pretty worn out from these past few days anyway, and he didn't particularly want to get up.

Momo watched his boyfriend for a moment, then sat up, grasping Ryoma's hips and tugging him against his chest, then stretching out on the couch, his boyfriend resting on top of him. "Here. Take a nap, and this way, you'll know if I try to run away, 'kay?"

Ryoma blinked at being repositioned, but soon settled on top of his boyfriend's broad chest. "Sure I'm not squishing you?" he murmured sleepily.

"Positive." Momo said, lifting a hand to rub Ryoma's back. "It's comfy like this." Especially since he was freezing, and Ryoma was warm.

"Mm, okay," Ryoma said with another yawn. Momo still felt too warm underneath him, but the heat was quickly lulling him to sleep. "Just gonna take a little nap," he mumbled, trailing off in a soft snore.

Smiling, Momo continued to rub his back until he was sure Ryoma was sleeping, then relaxed with a sigh. Escaping now was out of the question, since he didn't want to wake up Ryoma, but now what he was supposed to do?
