I was always wondering, in the anime the Rikkai first had red jerseys.
Does anyone know why, or why did it change to yellow, or the red was just a mistake or what?
This question was really bothering me for some time now~

I always though that when they did this episode, Rikkai has only been seen in the manga in B&W so they assumed a color... Red because no red team has been seen before (I think it was before Rokkaku too). And when coloured illustrations came they discovered they were actually yellow. ^^;
But I just guessed that, out of logic.

Yep, that's true.

When Rikkai first showed up Konomi had not decided on a colour yet.

Later on he gave them the yellow uniform because... yellow means danger? Their uniform looks like a bee after all XD! They sting!

Red probably looked too sweet on them.
Though I love the red uniform ^o^!
