with beams of emerald light
from every single facet
of everything in sight

refracting spectrums in my veins
deflecting logic in my head
grinding out scripted feelings
that should have been left for dead

strangling with careful screams
light modulates at static pitch
casting on every tiny being
making my oiled triggers itch

born of this illumination
that bends and stretches forever
new worlds replace the real one
green embers replace the weather

machinized desire and commerce
corrupts at every degree
what used to be a perfect system
now drifts in fields of debris

solarized by what's forgotten
too late the life drops slow
frustrations too bright to see
apologies bandage the fatal blow

too many layered designations
break the rhythm and exhaust the mind
halting these songs too soon
never leaving the gentle jade behind
