Who: Ootori Choutarou and Kaidoh Kaoru
Where: Choutarou’s room, Outside?

What: Playing with Choutarou’s kitten +a tour

Kaidoh got up after answering Choutarou's comment and headed for said boy's room. He would have to give him a tour; it was a bit troublesome but would probably be okay. At least it gave him a chance to be. And besides, Choutarou seems nice. When he came to the other boy's door he knocked softly.
Choutarou heard the knock on his door and stood up from where he was petting his small kitten. The small ball of fur looked curious as to why her owner had suddenly stopped giving her attention. She followed Choutarou as he walked to the door. So they were going outside to play? Choutarou, momentarily forgetting about the kitten opened his door.
"Thanks again Kaidoh-kun." He said as the fur ball leaped out the door only to run into Kaidoh's leg.
"Yeah... no pro-- what the?" Kaidoh looked down to see Hika-chan. Awwwww! She's even cuter in real life. He thought with a blush and picked her up; stroking her lightly. Not remembering that Choutarou was there to witness his soft side.
Choutarou froze for a moment. He had completely forgotten about Hika-chan. No one was supposed to know she was here. He watched as Kaidoh picked her up. It didn't seem to be so bad as Hika-chan purred softly obviously liking the attention.
Then Choutarou remembered that they were in the hallway. "Um it would be better if you brought her inside."
As Choutarou spoke it brought Kaidoh out of his kitten-induced trance. He looked around and noticed that, luckily, no one was around and he quickly went into Choutarou's room. "Uh... so... you brought her...?"
Choutarou nodded slowly. "I couldn't just leave her at home. I just got her. " He explained. "You're not going to say anything are you?"
Kaidoh nodded, it made sense. "Che, me? Tell? No way." He continued to pat Hika-chan's soft fur. Loving how it felt through his fingers, it had been a long time since he had stroked such a soft kitten.
Choutarou almost gave a sigh of relief. "Well that's good to know." He smiled when the kitten started purring again and pawing at Kaidoh's hands. He was pretty certain that seeing this side of Kaidoh was rare. The scene was actually rather cute.
Kaidoh really wanted to break out into a chorus of 'awwwws' and other such noises but thought very much against it. Then he remembered Choutarou was in the same room, probably staring at him, and he tried to make himself look as uninterested as possible while still stroking the kitten.
Choutarou moved to go through his things. He pulled out a cat toy a moment later. "Hika-chan look what I have. " He waved it in front of the kitten. The kitten looked up and stared at the toy before swatting at it.
Kaidoh reluctantly put the cat down, he wanted to watch her play and it was kind of weird to be holding her while someone else played. He kind of missed doing that with Echizen's cat... After he watched for a bit he asked quietly, "um.... C-can I do that?"
Choutarou looked up at Kaidoh when the question was asked. "Um...I guess so." He handed the toy to Kaidoh, Hika-chan's eyes following the toy as it was passed on the other male.
Kaidoh took the toy, trying not to act too eager, and got down on one knee gently clicking his tongue. "Ora, ora, ora." He waved the toy in front of Hika-chan.
Choutarou let out a small giggle. He'd never expected to see Kaidoh like this. Hika-chan meowed and swatted at the toy.
Kaidoh pulled the toy away a bit every time Hika-chan swat at it. "Come on, you can do it! Ora, ora!" He continued to tease the little fur ball.
The kitten pounced at the toy every time it was in reach, frantically trying to swat at it even as Kaidoh pulled it away. Choutarou did actually laugh a little this time. He couldn't help it.
Kaidoh stopped moving and let Hika get the toy. He heard a laugh... that was bad, very bad. "Uhhh... I can explain..." Kaidoh tried as he stood up, red in the face and flustered.
Choutarou shook his head, still laughing. "No it's fine. You don't need to."
Kaidoh nodded and took back his place on the floor to continue playing with Hika.
Eventually, Choutarou picked Hika-s han up when it looked like she was getting tired. The little kitten was stubborn and never did want to stop trying to catch the toy. "That's enough for now Hika-chan" he said as he sat her on his bed. He looked back over to Kaidoh. "I think she likes you."
Kaidoh was a bit sad when Hika-chan was taken away. He actually pouted a bit. "...Feeling's mutual..." He replied as he stared at the feline.
Choutarou managed to catch the small pout. "Sorry about that. She doesn't know when it's time to stop chasing that toy."
Kaidoh quickly looked away, embarrassed. "Uh... don't apologize..." He did look a little relieved at that though.
"Oh okay..." Choutarou said realizing that he probably wasn't going to get shown around today. "Um...You can come play with her anytime."
[22:37] FrEAkIsHRedHead1: Attempting to change the subject Kaidoh remembered, "Uh... so do you want the tour or not?"
Choutarou scratched the back of his head and gave a small nervous laugh. "If you still want to show me around..."
"I don't..." Kaidoh was about to say 'care' but thought that a bit too rude. Choutarou had just let him play with his cat, being civil was the least he could do. "mind." He finished.
Choutarou nodded and got up from his bed. "Then let's go."
Kaidoh nodded and walked out of Choutarou's room then stopped to wait.
When the other boy came out he made his way to the cafeteria. "Let's stop at the cafeteria first..." He said as he advanced to said location.
Choutarou nodded. "I've been there. Why aren't they giving me food?"
"Uh oh yeah... It's not just you, it's everyone... I think Niou's behind it... So... do we still need to go to the cafeteria then?" Kaidoh stopped walking, waiting for the answer.
'Oh...So that's it.' Choutarou thought. "No we don't need to go there."
"Okay then... The hot springs then?" Kaidoh suggested, not really able to think of a better place to start the, most likely, long tour.
Choutarou nodded and followed behind Kaidoh. "Okay then."
Kaidoh took Choutarou to the entrance to the hot springs. "This is the hot springs." Then he turned away and started heading for the shrine.
The hot springs were big Choutarou noticed. It would be nice to relax here sometime. He quickly followed Kaidoh when he realized that the other male was starting to leave.
"Okay... now before it gets late, to the shrine..." Kaidoh said as soon as he realized Choutarou was following him.
"Why before it gets late?" Choutarou thought aloud.
"...It's supposedly haunted..." Kaidoh answered truthfully.
"Then we better get going then..." Choutarou said. He'd rather not be in a haunted place at a late hour.
"You know... There's a lot of steps... you sure you wanna go all the way there?" Kaidoh asked with a raised brow. He didn't really care either way, he just didn't want to drag the taller boy around if he didn't want to go.
"We don't have to go all the way there." Choutarou answered.
"Okay... Here's the shrine." With that Kaidoh pointed and turned around, all in one fluid motion.
Wow...That did look like a lot of steps. He followed behind Kaidoh again.
"Uh... to the courts... that's the only place left..." Kaidoh said as he made his way there.
Choutarou smiled. He was looking forward to seeing the courts.
The duo reached the courts quickly. "These are the courts..." He pointed out, only this time staying put and not leaving.
Choutarou nodded looking around. "If we had brought our rackets, we could have had a match."
'Why didn't I think of that' Kaidoh asked himself. "Yeah... too bad..." He nodded. "I guess that's it now..."
"I guess it is..."Choutarou said. "I'll see you some other time then?"
"Yeah..." Kaidoh said as he walked away. Then he remembered something. "Uh... Do you need me to take you back to your room?" He blushed and scratched his head, embarrassed because he had been so rude.
Choutarou shook his head. "I think I can manage it on my own now." He answered.
"Bye then." Kaidoh waved then left.
