Holding the baby careful enough not to kill it, Saeki strode towards the room he had once named as "Tachibana's room" but he wasn't going to see Tachibana. He was going to see the mother of his child. Haha. Knocking the door he called out a happy. "Mommy, open the door~"
A smile grew on Kajimoto's face when he heard Saeki's voice. He took a few steps forward to open the door. He was happy for having Saeki as his partner for the parenting course. He invited the 'daddy' into his room while eyeing the baby they had named Yu. He understood it wouldn't really make the plastic baby feel better or anything, but he still gave a quick smile to him too.
Saeki kissed Kajimoto's cheek as he walked past him. "You look pretty as ever, Mommy~" He sat on other one of the beds, not caring whose it was and set the baby down on it, grinning at his partner. "The little monster is finally asleep."
Kajimoto felt his cheeks redden. He didn't think he was blushing. His cheeks just felt a little hot. He'd been less startled about bigger matters than this. He shook his head, closed the door and turned back to Saeki. "Our little monster, hon. You're the pretty one," he said and managed a grin.
"I'm the daddy, so I can't be the pretty one," Saeki protested lightly. He patted the bed on the other side of the doll. "Come and sit here, lovely."
Kajimoto shook his head slightly at the protest, but still gingerly approached the bed. He sighed softly as he sat down. He looked at Yu and then Saeki. He could get used to this.
"You don't mind taking care of the little devil for a few days, do you?" Saeki leaned closer to the other boy and smiled his most disarming smile. Kin-chan might miss Yu, but well... The mother had rights too, right?
"Of course I don't mind. He's my baby too, after all." Kajimoto answered with a light smile. "I can have Yu here whenever it's okay with you."
"Ah, that why you're the Mommy." Saeki gave Kajimoto a hearts! -look. He'd suffered the kid's whims long enough. Maybe he'd take the doll to walks or something, when he'd start missing it. "The best Mommy there is~"
Kajimoto laughed a bit nervously. "I guess I'll be a housewife, for one week at least." More like an inexperienced teenage mom, he thought to himself.
"Oh, don't worry." Saeki tapped Kajimoto's nose with his finger playfully. "I'll be there through thick and thin, just not nights. But hey, you have Tachibana here to help you."
Kajimoto was once again startled by a sudden touch on his face. He turned away for a while. "Tachibana has his own baby, though," he said nonchalantly. "Ah, but how am I supposed to keep Yu with me at classes?" He turned back and scratched his head. "Um, I'll just get used to things. This doesn't even feel weird anymore."
"You don't stalk people's journals enough, Kajimoto," the white-haired boy chuckled. "Kite will have Tachibana's baby for the weekend." That's why he'd formed this great plan. Kajimoto wouldn't be alone with their baby. "Oh no, he's waking up." He looked at the doll. It had it's eyes open. He knew it'd start screaming soon. Nonononononoooo!
"Stalk people's journals...?" He didn't have too much time to ponder that, because Yu obviously wanted something. Kajimoto tried to protect his ears, but figured there was a wiser thing to do. What, though? How should he feed him? He let out a helpless sigh. He would really be needing Tachibana's help, even if he didn't really want to bother him.
Saeki opened the Bag he'd brought with him. "Can't be diapers." He'd changed them before he'd left. "Maybe it's hungry. I'll make him milk."
"Okay. Can I help you with that?" He knew Saeki probably wouldn't need any assistance, but he had to ask nevertheless. He looked at the baby, wondering if he should keep him on his lap for a while.
"Please do," Saeki chirped smiling sappily. "We're a family, we should do things together." He took the milk powder and the baby's bottle out of the bag. "Just rock him and see if you can quiet him, while we make his dinner~"
Kajimoto rocked the baby gently, and smiled contently when Yu finally quieted down. He stood up to take part on feeding their baby. A family, huh?
Saeki mixed the milk and then put it in hot water, so it would warm up. "I don't even remember how warm it's suppose to be, but I wait until it's a bit warmer than my hand."
Kajimoto studied Saeki and leaned a bit closer. "It should be all right." He kept Yu in his arms, starting to like the plastic baby a little.
"Yeah.." He turned to his ...should he be calling Kajimoto his "wife?" He had no idea, but he liked the thought, haha. "We just gotta wait." He looked at the doll in Kajimoto's arms and came close enough to pet its head like one would pet a puppy's head. "Think you can wait that long, little dude? Oh, don't be such a baby. Real men can wait for good things."
Kajimoto looked at Yu and then Saeki with a pretty rare, warm expression on his face. He snickered at Saeki's words, feeling like a real family. He had wanted a child once, dreaming how he'd teach him play tennis and such.
Saeki looked up hearing the chuckle, and gave his "wife" a silly smile. "I guess he comes after me, eh? Restless all the time."
"That's bad, Saeki-kun. You're giving our child bad genes," he said, pouting like a teenage girl that pretends to be mad. He then smiled again. "Young boys should be a little restless."
Saeki smiled sweetly. "Maybe when he gets older he'll start showing what he got from you~ I'm hoping it has something to do with the Mommy's looks~" He cupped Kajimoto's cheek lovingly.
"If he got both his looks and his nature from his daddy, he'd be in trouble," Kajimoto said playfully. He caressed his cheek. It was probably the longest time he had ever continued smiling at one person.
"That's true. Girls would have trouble keeping their hands off." Then Saeki gave Kajimoto a wicked little grin. "And boys too. And the other way around of course. I should step back, 'cause I'm gonna kiss you other vice."
Kajimoto tilted his head. "But darling, I'm your wife. There's nothing wrong with a kiss."
Saeki thought he might've fallen in love with Kajimoto just then. The grin widened just a bit and he kissed his wife over their crying baby.
Kajimoto almost dropped the baby. This boy... Now he knew he was blushing. But just a little, he decided.
"Aaww, how cute~" Saeki commented affectionately, and retreated to check in on the milk. He put the tip of his finger in the bottle and decided it was good enough, putting the mouth part back on it. "Here you go, Yu. Do you want Mommy to feed you?" He gave the bottle to his blushing bride.
Kajimoto fed Yu carefully, it seemed to work and the baby was as happy as a pile of plastic could be.
"You're a gift to the Mommy-world, Kajimoto-kun," Saeki announced looking at the two. "But I guess it's true what they say, daddies shouldn't interfere with raising the baby, until it's old enough to play tennis~"
"Or maybe you're the cold businessman that doesn't care about his family and I'm left to raise our child alone," Kajimoto said, still feeding Yu. "I'll gladly teach him tennis, though, when the time comes."
"No, I'm not. I'm gonna be present it's whole childhood, trust me, babe." Saeki promised with his hand on his heart, then touched the baby's little finger with his own. "Pinky promise~" he cooed lightly. "Okay, you teach him tennis, and I'll teach him kendo. He'll be a great man someday, our darling Yu."
Kajimoto smiled at Saeki's promise with their son. "Okay then. You must remember you promised this to him, too."
Saeki caught Kajimoto's eyes and smiled honestly. "Of course."
